British Waterways Canal River Trust Key

The Canal & River Trust (CRT) has made the decision to close most of its public toilet and shower facilities as part of a recent policy change. As a result, the CRT key will no longer operate these facilities.

However, the key continues to operate the following facilities:

Water points: It can be used to access fresh water facilities.

Locks and gates: It operates various locks, including some manual and electric swing bridges, as well as towpath gates.

Anti-vandal mechanisms: It can operate anti-vandal locks and other mechanisms on the waterways.

This is a must for boaters and anyone else using the waterways on a regular basis.
